I am really slacking on keeping up with my blog, but we have been so busy cleaning, preparing for thanksgiving, then cleaning that mess up and setting up Christmas stuff and getting all our presents. This last weekend just flew by way to fast.
I would like to share the last few things that I am thankful for.
Day 28
I am thankful for the food that we were able to prepare on thanksgiving. We had turkey (which my amazing mother in law taught me how to prepare for the 2nd year in a row. I am almost confident in making my own without help). We also had pineapple brown sugar glazed ham, potatoes, gravy, green beans, pecan, pumpkin, apple pies. Peanut butter bars, chocolate sheet cake, chocolate chip cookies and fudge. Everything but the pies were homemade next year I plan on everything being homemade.
Day 29
I am thankful for my interest in baking/cooking foods as that helps me prepare the best meals for my family. Its the best feeling in the world when your children, husband and other family members enjoy your food. It makes me feel just wonderful inside.
Day 30
I am thankful for the seasons as it constantly reminds me that things change, evolve, and that nothing is ever permanent.
How did everyone's thanksgivings go?
