Crafts, Presents, a New Direction

As many know I am a crafty person. I like to make many things such as decor, educational, clothing and so on. Lately I have made many things such as Christmas skirts for Abagail and Rylee.

 educational games for my kids and niece and nephew for Christmas. I love what I have made them as it will keep them entertained and yet learning. For the kids I made ABC tracing letter booklets. I print out the traceable pages (4x6) and put it in a dollar photo book and gave the kiddos a dry erase marker. Rylee absolutely loves it and she has thanked me more than a few times for it.

 I also make a 1-20 matching card game and a choo-train that you place on a track and count to ten for Edison and Abagail. For my niece I made her a multiplication game where you roll dice 1-12 to find your problem and then you solve. Its laminate and she will get a dry erase marker. I love these as you can use it multiple times. I also got very creative with her present. I got her the cutest little journal/notebook and I created a journal jar that has a whole bunch of topics she can write about. This will help her become stronger in writing and teach her the importance of a journal. I really hope they like all the work that I have done. 

Throughout this month Devin and I started up juicing.  I absolutely loved it, I did not lose as much weight as I wanted but it gave me a love for it and I want to continue on including in my daily diet. Rylee and Abagail also loved it, I am glad we have it cause now I know instead of buying store juice I am making my own as I know it will all be natural and better for my family. Since we moved back into our condo we do not have a TV. We have been living off DVDs on our laptops and netflix. I can say I really like not having a television as I feel like we have to do fun activities. We sing songs, dance, color, paint, make presents, clean, school work when kids take a nap. We have our occasional movie time but definitely not as much as it use to be and man I am enjoying it

Our family schedule as changed a lot we wake up and are ready by 8 am when when before it was  9-9:30. Naptime is at noon to 2-3 and then dinner at 6:30, bath at 7, and movie time at 7:30 and then after the kids go to bed and Devin and I stay up for another 2 hours working on homework and watching a New Girl on Netflix. The girls have been so much happier and I can do a lot more. Its been nice.
 I decided I wanted to do a casual family shoot for our family. I wanted to do it in a few ways but I cannot decide what would be best. Making cookies as a family, Christmas photobooth props cuddle on the couch, or putting up the Christmas tree. I am gonna put a poll up and it will close at the end of November.
