This week I am 29 weeks along! It is going by somewhat fast. On the left side of the picture below is me now and on the right was me at 29 weeks with Rylee. Can you believe the difference. Just amazes me so much!!
Im excited to say that this upcoming Sunday we will be on a plane headed to Disneyland. After Disneyland we will be potty training Rylee and hopefully will have her going in the potty before Abagail gets here. Any advice??
For dessert I wanted to try to make Churros for dessert so I found a good recipe online.
Dough
1 cup water
2 ½ tbsp. Sugar
½ tsp. Salt
2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 cup All Purpose Flour
Coating
½ cup Sugar
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
and
1 Quart Vegetable Oil, For Frying
Directions
In a deep fryer, skillet, or saucepan, begin to heat 1 quart of vegetable oil to 350 degrees F.
To make the dough, combine the water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, and then remove from the heat. Stir in the flour until the mixture forms a dough ball.
To make the coating, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set this mixture aside until needed.
Place the dough into a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. If you don’t have a pastry bag, you can use a Ziploc bag and cut the corner. And if you don’t have a star pastry tip, you can always just use a round one, or even not one at all. However, the star strip is best because it makes the churros their infamous shape.
When the dough has reached 350 degrees F, begin to pipe strips of dough, about 4 inches long, into the hot oil. Fry the dough until it is golden brown on each side. It took about 1 minute on each side when I fried them. Place the pieces of dough onto a paper towel to drain.
Roll the drained churros into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Serve warm and enjoy :)!

I just rolled because I did not have the utensils to make it all pretty. I also did not do it in the oven but on the stove. It turned out well but next time I will do the oven for sure. It was hard to maintain the temp on the oil on the stove. So hopefully the oven will be better.
After your done cooking them dab the oil and roll it in the coating. It was pretty good and helped satisfy my craving to go to a fair or amusement park to get one myself.
