Utah Adventures

This last weekend we traveled back to Utah it was a much needed to be with family and friends. Its has been a month since my Mother in Laws passing, and its still so hard to believe that such a wonderful person is no longer a visit, phone call, or physical presence in our lives.
When we came to Utah, on Friday we got together with all of Devin's siblings. We had pizza and a strawberry dessert, along with enjoying the conversations, watching all the kids play, and even playing a game of Things. We ended up being there past midnight but it was so much fun just getting together and enjoying what life has to offer us. I wish I got pictures but I totally forgot to between the games, eating, and conversations. Next time, though I will try harder to capture those fun moments on my camera.
Saturday, was my baby shower for the soon arrival of Easton Ryan. Can you believe it I have 12-14 weeks left of the pregnancy (12 weeks is when I'll be 37 weeks, when water broke with Abagail and 14 weeks is my scheduled c-section).  It has gone by at a decent pace and I know with all the holidays coming up its gonna continue to fly by.

My grandma Rose got the cutest sports ottoman and room decor and receiving blankets.

Easton's Room is gonna be baseball themed. My grandma Liz made his bedroom set after  I found the first crib set that I loved and wanted but it was so expensive. Having my grandma make it I was gonna save a few hundred dollars. She ended up buying all the materials and making it as a gift which made me appreciate it so much more. She also made a quilt to match and a few receiving blankets and burp cloths. I was so surprised by how much my grandma did  I can't believe how fast she got everything done, she is truly amazing.

My mom got me a bed sleeper/bassinet that can go on my bed or on the floor, the couch. Its easy to go up and downstairs and easy to travel with. I can't wait to use it and not have to worry about Easton being trampled by the dog or falling off the couch or where he might sleep when we come visit Utah a few months after his birth.
I also got a bouncer, a baby book, clothes, diapers, and wipes. I am truly thankful for all my friends and family that came to celebrate our little boys soon to be arrival. Its so exciting preparing for a new baby and I am so excited to finally be preparing for our baby boy!
On Sunday, we took my sister and my grandma Liz and grandpa Bob out for breakfast and to see the movie Boxtrolls. It was a great thing to do for my grandma and grandpa as we are truly thankful for them taking us into their home and feeding us when we come visit.
Can't wait for our upcoming and last trip to Utah in November before Eastons arrival.
