Thanksgiving

I was so glad when Thanksgiving got here. I prepared many treats and snacks. This year we did our own little dinner. It was a small gathering and it was so amazing. We had our family, then my sister, Devins mom and brother. It was so peaceful and just plain relaxed it was a get together well needed.
Preparing my first meal was great, I had the help of my Mother in Law Julie. She is a wonderful cook and knows how to make a great thanksgiving. She taught me how to make her homemade stuffing, how to stuff the turkey and how to cook it. She also taught me how to do her mashed potoatoes.
It was by far a great meal and experience.  I do not know if I can ever go to another Thankgiving dinner that is not mine. I really like the prepping process.

We had my dad visit on Thanksgiving. his girlfriend and her kids came to see us and it was their first time meeting Abagail.
It was so good to see them life gets so busy that we rarely see each other and we do not even live that far away.
This year I am thankful for many things. Such as Rylee, Devin, Daisy, Abagail, my home, my faith, the food that gets put on my table and in my belly, family on both sides, my husbands safety when he travels, his job, and so on. I could go on..
After Thanksgiving I was so excited I set up our christmas tree.
Doesn't it look so pretty and elegant?? It looks perfect. Both kids love it and just stare at it all the time. I think it so amazing how they both get memorized by it. Then tonight we went to the see all the Christmas lights down at Temple SQ. I haven't been for years and it felt so good to take my family and have a nice outing. I got to take lots of pictures and we finally took our first family photo since Abagail was born. Rylee fought us a tad but she gave up and said cheese after a couple of seconds.
It was great to spend some time with my hubby and kids.
I can't wait for Christmas. I so excited for this holiday.
How was everyone else's Thanksgiving?? Anyone else super excited for Dec. 25??
