2nd week

The hospital stay was tons better then my experience with Rylee.
Many family members came to visit and welcome her into the world. On my side of the family there are 5 generations. We are so blessed to have that many. I try really hard to catch every moment with the great great grandparents because they won't be here much longer and it would be so cool to have my children watch videos or look at pictures of them spending time with their awesome grandparents.
That's my great grandma (Rys and Abbys great great). When I was little I always wanted to have her see my children one day and I am so blessed that she has seen two so far!

I am also on my second week of healing and having a newborn and man can I say its a huge adjustment.
Abagail was beginning to spit up curdled breastmilk a few hours after I had a glass of milk, bowl of cereal, and any other foods with milk. I told her doctor of my concern and he had me cut out milk for a week. Well that week is up today and I broke it just a tiny bit yesterday to share a piece of candy with Rylee (Peanut Butter Cup). And boy! did Abagail start spitting up curdled milk again! So its official, no more milk products for this mommy. I can try soy, almond, and rice but if it niether works I will have to do without milk until I am done breastfeeding. I know it's so sad and I can't believe many things that have milk products in it. So I decided to stick with fruits, veggies, and meats. If anyone has any good recipes with no milk products please oh please send them my way! I'm running out of ideas for foods.

Abagail had her 2 week check up and she is now 6lbs 5oz and growing strong! She has sure worked up an appetite. She feeds every 2.5-3 hours for about 15-20 minutes and every other feeding she cluster feeds for a few hours. At nights she sleeps pretty good wakes up every 3-3.5 hours and only tops off for about 7-12 minutes and goes back to sleep.

I really hope I get back into a great routine soon. I really miss doing crafts and cooking, I will definately try finding some dairy free recipes and trying them out soon!
Wish me luck!
