Jack O'Lantern Jars

So my shower is the 6th of October and I was trying to come up with some crafty gifts for the diaper raffle and I am in such a craft mood. I like this mood because it keeps me busy and helps the last month of this pregnancy fly by faster
So to do this craft you need jars of course, paint and paint brushes. I found face stensils online and just made it the size that I wanted. I also created some of my own faces on Microsoft.
Depending on the light or candle you use you need 1 or 2 coats. Im made myself a set and I am using the ice cube lights and 2 coats was perfect. I did try the little tea cup candles and they were good on two coats but I would do only one coat on green and purple.
The first coat I painted on there vertically and the second coat I blotched so it (to me gave a creepy look).
I traced the senstils with marker after a few hours of it drying and then hand painted the rest of the face on. Yes it took some patiences and some wicked skills to get it in the corners of some of those faces without messing up.
They turned out better than I thought and I have gotten many compliments on them. My home set is all the same size but I am half tempted to get a few more jars that are smaller to have it be big small big small.

There are many ways you can do this project if you didn't want to do paint. You can mod podge the face on the outside or inside of jar and then mod podge tissue paper on the inside. I have seen it done this way and it is rather cute but for me a lil to messy than what I wanted to deal with.

Hope you like this decor and if you make one yourself send me pictures because I would love to see your versions.
