Girl Fever!!

So everyone seems to be having babies. Girls on top of that. Wedding season is coming to an end and now its the baby season. I have mulitple baby showers that I get to be apart of within the next few months. So trying to prepare for my baby and also celebrate with others without robbing the bank calls for more creative projects.
Lil girls need so many accessories, headband, bows, clips, flowers, tutus, dresses, etc. So for Abagail, Rylee, and all these lil girl showers I decided to also make some cute hair products for them.
You take ribbon and cut it in 5-6 inch strips you need four in each bow. Unless you want to make it bigger. Play with it and find what works best for you.
Hot glue each stip so they form circles
Then hot glue the center of the circle together so it forms two small cirlces
Then layer it the way you like and hot glue to keep it in place as you go.
Then hot glue a button or a jewel in the center of the bow
You can place a clip or a velcro in the back. I switch off but I really like the velcro especially for newborns and the crochet headbands like the ones below. I have learned that the clips like to snag the crochet headband and makes them look worn out faster.

And there you have it! A cute little bow for your sweet lil one. One package of ribbon will make tons of bows you can mix and match  it doesn't have to be the same color and you can always make some for presents for nieces or expectant mothers. Whatever it is it is a cute little project and look adorable on those lil girls.
